Variety

In the past days I've being working in some custom made designs for my customers. Every time more challenge add to my work and I like it. I am very proud of what I accomplished.   All of them where made using Butter Pound Cake, my signature Cake. Ganache and Fresh Strawberries, Chocolate, Vanilla and Coconut Butter Cream used as a filling and colorful fondant.

Valentine's day 2010: Chocolate Ganache and fresh Strawberries!

A new experience each day! I decided to make some cakes for Valentine's day. Something simple and small to offer to those who want to celebrate the occasion. I have to admit that the Chocolate Ganache and fresh strawberries has been a hit in the neighbourhood. People love it and come back to let me know how much! Today a customer call me to thank for the "wonderful cake and marvelous icing" despite her cake was very simply made with Butter Bake and Chocolate Italian style Butter Cream.




My signature Butter Cake with two layers of Chocolate Ganache and fresh Strawberries, covered with Cherry flavored Fondant and topped with Chocolate Covered Strawberries.







Same concept cake but Chocolate Fondant is used instead. I also added Fresh Chocolate covered Strawberries and a Chocolate Heart with two initials on it. Very cute!

After Valentine's day the store slow down again. I am preparing my designs for St. Patrick's day and Easter and some Wedding dummy cakes for display.

Why?????

I just decided to launch this brand new blog. No idea why since my writing in English is very poor. However, I believe in evolution and the way my creations are evolving. I want to look back and see how was my work and evaluate improvements and mistakes, and most important, how my work has evolute.


By now, I am very proud I have very satisfied and happy customers. My Butter Cake is good and moist. My Lemon Chiffon is also good. This are mi first steps in Cake making and decorating.

Long way to go but I think it should be interesting trip. Here are my first creations.





The Dinosaur Cake, made for a friend and customer. A Butter cake with Ganache and chocolate butter cream filling finished in Vanilla fondant. The Dinosaur was made in Rice Crispy Treats and covered in Fondant.











Rogers Cake: A Vanilla Butter cake with Chocolate Ganache and fresh Strawberries filling with Chocolate Butter Cream. Topped with Chocolate covered Strawberries.









Baby Eve Shower Cake.

A Lemon Chiffon cake filled with Lemon Curd and finished with Lemon Butter Cream and Fondant.
